Understanding DSLR Camera Program Mode

DSLR Program mode aka program mode is usually symbolized with the letter P on camera DSLR or other digital cameras. In this mode, we can choose the ISO and the camera will determine the aperture value and shutter speed. Difference between Program mode with Auto mode is in Program mode we still have control over the camera, while in Auto mode the camera determines everything.

Program Shift

In Program mode, we can change the aperture value and shutter speed are determined by using Program Shift camera. Simply by rotating the rotary dial on the back of the camera we can change the aperture value and shutter speed.
